Photograph of an Eastern Gray Squirrel listening to me as I was talking to him. Nature can be so darn cute. Squirrels are some of the most visible wildlife in our modern urban and suburban settings, and they are a vital part of the ecosystems they inhabit. They have a peculiar habit of taking seeds, which are their main source of nutrients and burying them, often forgetting where they buried them, thus they are effectively planting seeds; in which, is the biggest contribution to the forest in shaping plant composition.
About Rebecca Grzenda
I am from a small New England town in Massachusetts, born and raised and go by the name Rebecca "Becky" Grzenda .... "Becky" is a nickname my Mom always used to address me. Photography has been a passion of mine for over 30 years. My late mother was the one that started me out in my venture of Photography when she bought me my first camera; in which, my love of photography began. I then started and am still active in a local photography club. I have competed in competitions within the club as well as outside of the club. Some of my other ventures included Wickford Art Association, competitions with the Massachusetts Audubon Society, South Shore Art Association, Rhode Island Watercolor Society to name a few. My first love is nature...
