Photograph of a female and male House Sparrow. House Sparrows are very family oriented and are often seen together as couples or in groups within there species. They are also very widespread and abundant in the world today.

I just don't know how you do it, Rebecca!! Little birds never stay still for me - if I can find them!

great pair backlit by soft colorful bokeh, nestled close to each other amongst old buds adding brown tones, well done Rebecca, great nature gallery.

Such a sweet capture of this pair of English House Sparrows! I raised a featherless baby female back in the 1970's. I took her to work with me everyday to feed her throughout the day. She had deformed legs and could not perch but I made platforms for her in a bird cage so she could rest when needed. We often let her out of the cage to fly around and then she would land in my hands safely. I had her for six years.
